Refund Policy

Effective date: 1 April 2026

Our commitment: We provide independent, honest car inspections. If we can't do the job — or you have a legitimate reason to cancel — we make it right. This policy is designed to be fair to both parties.

Full refund (100%)

  • Inspector arrives and the vehicle described doesn't match (wrong car, wrong location entirely)
  • We are unable to dispatch an inspector within 48 hours of your scheduled time due to our capacity issues
  • You cancel a Pre-Purchase Inspection (PPI) more than 48 hours before the scheduled time

Partial refund (90%)

  • You cancel a PPI more than 24 hours (but less than 48 hours) before the scheduled inspection time
  • The seller becomes unavailable or refuses access on the day, reported to us at least 3 hours before the appointment

No refund

  • Cancellation within 24 hours of the scheduled inspection time
  • No-show: inspector arrives and no one is present to grant access
  • Online Vetting or Import Advisory: once our analyst has commenced work
  • Full Buyer Agent: after we have begun sourcing or negotiations on your behalf
  • Services already delivered

How to request a refund

Message us on WhatsApp or email with your booking reference and reason for cancellation.

We confirm eligibility

Our team will review the request against this policy and confirm within 2 business hours.

Refund is processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 5–7 business days (Paystack) or 5–10 business days (Stripe for international payments).

Processing times

Paystack refunds typically reflect in 5–7 business days. Stripe refunds for international cards typically take 5–10 business days. Bank transfer refunds may take slightly longer depending on your bank.

Disputes

If you are unsatisfied with a refund decision, you may escalate to disputes@cheksure.com. We will review the case within 3 business days. Our goal is always a fair outcome — we want you to use ChekSure again.
